City of Columbus sues Trump administration over cuts to homelessness assistance

Many programs providing community services are facing funding cuts.

One of the latest communities being affected are the homeless.

According to the latest numbers, homelessness in Franklin County increased by 7.4%.

With homelessness on the rise, the need for services to help them is greater than ever. However, the Trump administration has plans to cut funding for homeless prevention programs.

Columbus is taking part in a multi-city lawsuit against the Trump administration’s funding cut plans.
